Actually, it is gorgeous here. A few inches of fresh snow beautifying the otherwise dull landscape. The sun is shining bright. Love it.
Plus, we could use the moisture.

and ya it wasn't that bad, just kinda iced over all the roads because it didn't get cold enough.

We got at least 3" accumulation on the north end of town. North of the city they got even more.

I was hoping to pull our trailer out to BC this weekend. It does look like there will be a bit of show and rain early tomorrow passing through the mountains, but then not too bad for the rest of the weekend. We do have lots of homes to stay at, and may just do that too.

ya i think calgary has gotten the last big bunch of it for this weekend. haven't heard of anything else possibly coming our way.

We are off to the interior of BC next weekend to attend a memorial service (celebration of life) of the mother of three good, long time friends. I knew her very well. Her passing was somewhat of a relief to the family, as she had suffered from Alzheimer's for quite a few years now, and had withered to just a shell of her former outgoing self.

We will be on the North Shore of the Shuswap, near Scotch Creek, if you know where that is.
