So Boss Jim's going to revel that he doesn't have to pay Employee Jim to not work on Sunday, 11/11 since Employee Jim doesn't work on Sundays?

Boss Jim will pay Employee Jim to take Monday off too. He is that kinda guy. :)

I covered as much as I had covers for and made sure the burning bushes are covered. Not so much new as transplanted from a neighbor's so they aren't greenhouse spoiled. The hostas still in curl are not covered, those in full leaf are. We'll see how everything fares.

I actually followed that.

We have a month or so before we have those worries. ;)

You know, you really shouldn't admit it. :p

I am so tempted to buy all that I see at the nursery and set up the terrace, but I know we aren't done with the cold weather yet. Even the grocery stores are packed with flowers to plant!!

You should be okay. We have had a couple frosts but done okay.

That is a neat idea. Packing the dirt in would be a pain but not as bad as tilling a garden up. You can replace the soil and use a very nice mix. Pretty nifty.

Grass is really easy to grow. Amend the soil, airate, plant seed, water. So long as there is sun and not some sort of crazy traffic it will grow.

I don't have any good full sun areas I can plant veggies.

No Good Friday here either. And if Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years or any other days fall on the weekends we don't get any extra days off.

2011 was a bad year for days off at the end of the year.

Walgreens does not have ANY Holidays off. They are open 7days a week always. The hrs may be shorter on a couple holidays. But they are still open.

And I was RIGHT! It's gonna take me awhile to figure this silly phone out.
