Aaaaahhhh!!!!!

Jeez! Was that supposed to comfort me?!? What the heck is up with you lullaby singing lunatics, anyway?

Sawwy, next time I will post a video link of me singing, that would sooth you better. ;)

*raising hand*! I have a question! :D Okies, I downloaded a ringtone from the internet on my phone (Droid 3) Now I can see the ringtone in my download file, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to actually make it a ringtone for a contact or all contacts. When I go into settings and sounds it doesn't list it there. Anyone have any ideas?

I use Zedge for getting most of my ringtones, and when you go to edit a contact, or even change your main ringtone, it comes up as an option to select from.

Doing what Crissa said works great for any other ringtones you get, or ones you create.

If it weren't for the rain last night, this weather related photo would not have been possible:

Well it could have, I suppose using a hose, but that would have been cheating and we all know how honest our photos are. ;)

You may have to move it to the same directory as your other ring-tones. Or you may be able to change the folder you look for ring-tones with. That's what my Nokia (not Android; S60) does.

Skrim17 wrote in post #14271409 (external link)
Pea, I had to put it in a specific folder to get any custom or new ringtones. Attach your phone as if it were a drive to your pc and copy it into the ringtones folder.

Okies, I may try that. Thanks!

That's what I used! Zedge! But when I go into settings, sounds, phone ringtone... it will give the option for zedge ringtones, but there are none listed there. Now if I go into the downloads I can find it but then I can't set it for a ringtone from there. Does that makes sense?

Not sure what is up there, I have a long list with selection buttons to choose one, or just hitting the listing plays it.

Go to the individual contact, hit edit, then select ringtone. Easy Peasy

Android is very easy too, and we are not sucked into some kinda pop culture Kool-Aid thing. ;)

Mine would be a bit more soothing, albeit not as much fun. :)
