It is great to get them used to all different tastes now Harm. My guy is an adventurous eater, but my one nephew is incredibly picky. His mom never had him taste anything interesting when he was tiny and didn't know any better!! lol

Absolutely, Crissa... we'll definitely let him try everything that we eat. We tend to eat different things from different cultures.

He loves hummus :D

Oh, and he will wolf down a tub of that Chobani yoghurt... Vanilla is his favourite flavour. So we give him 1 a day. Get those good bacteria in his belly, and a decent source of dairy for him.

I love watching their faces when they try something new. Eli was gobbling scallops and roasted veggies by 9 months. Who doesn't love hummus!! I get the carrots that come sliced as 'chips' and my kid devours them with hummus.

Do you pack his lunch for daycare?

Today he got sweet potatoes, apple sauce (steamed apples, mashed with some cinnamon), cheerios as a snack, and plenty of formula, and oatmeal cereal...

Daycare will mix some of the apples into the cereal, and the rest is for lunch / snacking.

We'll give different fruits and veg on other days.
