sounds like fun, Crissa. They have some festival days down in town from time to time...

always is a Greek and an Italian thing that goes on in the respective areas of town.

The Greek events here all take place in June, there are 2 large local GO churches and they have their festivals back to back. Great food!!

for being handheld, that is pretty stable..

if i did that handheld, it would be like i have had a few pints of beer :D

Actually I had a beer at my brother's after dropping off the boys, maybe it helped.;)

We have a feast day (saint Rocco) at the local RC Church, it is a small fair type event but fun for the kiddo. Going on until Sunday, if the heat breaks a little we might go on Saturday, but we do have some thunder storms slated for today and tomorrow.

We dropped 20 degrees yesterday and are in the 70's for the highs for the next few days. Actually feels chilly after all the hot weather this summer.

Nice fair shots, Bucky. We went to the fair near our horses last night. Because we are so central to maryland and Virginia there are quite a few fairs we can attend. I always find the demographics and people watching interesting when we go to a bunch of different fairs. The smaller more distant fairs can be pretty interesting/

Because I have to work today, I took the boys down to my brother's last night. It gave me some time to do some night shots at the fair, the Ferris wheel this year has a nice light show.

All hand held, our tripod is too heavy, so excuse the giggles.

Very nice, Becky. Good thing you are young and steady hand holding like that. :D

Wisconsin state fair was a bust today. Rained the whole time we were there, at least me had bag poncho's with us. Also pretty cool at 66f, so it begins to feel cold when your mostly wet.
