she's a crusty woman who would fit in on a sailing vessel named the 'scurvy' if you know what I mean, however I have been told that when she is happy she bakes; and so far she has baked every day for the last 2 weeks so I guess things are going well!!

It was delicious, not too sweet, a little cinnamonny, incredibly flaky crust.

Might as well toss back a couple shots, no sense wasting a good headache. :p

I plan to Chief! She really had a grudge against my predecessor and things were ugly. Now I get a different cookie or pastry every day, generally nice and warm, delivered with a smile!! She made THE most fabulous almond cookies on Thursday.

My job is proving to be quite interesting. I've always been good at being diplomatic in work situations; dealing with older folks and being respectful while also having to tell them things they don't want to hear is a very delicate matter!!!
