Hi Everyone. Spent the weekend in Phoenix, enjoying spending time with a couple of friends, and my parents. They have a 6 month old beagle/Jack Russel Terrier mix that is absolutely adorable (no photos - I did not take a camera). I also get to plan my brother's wedding......... as he still lives in China, and he got married there on Jan. 19th, and wants to have a wedding here for the rest of the family - I set the date for July 21st with input from my parents (I was given the period of July 10 to Aug 10 to make it happen)
Quoted from here, so I could catch up - Dan - I loved the story line, and that Permie can make a heart out of her tail.....

Flip phones rock old school!

But that's neat to be able to access the cameras on the go. I've been wanting to buy the security camera set from Costco...but haven't gotten around to dropping the money for it yet. And it may be awhile longer for it too....Mari got laid off (again!) so while she's job hunting again, we are re-listing the house for sale again. We are planning to get a house that would allow us to live off one income if need be in the future for this exact reason.
Sorry to hear about Mari. Hope she is back to work soon Robert
Happy belated Anniversary to a wonderful couple

I have a herniated disc and it hurts when I cough or sneeze, especially when it is unexpected.
Ouch - hope it feels better soon Crissa.

I plan to Chief! She really had a grudge against my predecessor and things were ugly. Now I get a different cookie or pastry every day, generally nice and warm, delivered with a smile!! She made THE most fabulous almond cookies on Thursday.
My job is proving to be quite interesting. I've always been good at being diplomatic in work situations; dealing with older folks and being respectful while also having to tell them things they don't want to hear is a very delicate matter!!!
Hope you keep getting cookies and pies Crissa. You can always put them aside to take home to the guys

Evening folks

Thanks Harm. She was a pharmaceutical rep....sales...I've told her now though to get out of the industry, but its what she likes.

.
Another shot from me....taken this past holiday season.

I like it....it was handheld

LOVE - and hope to be able to visit one day
I have not been here since right after it opened, but they do have an aquarium and a water park now, so I guess you will have to come back this way Robert.
Sorry for the smilie kill that had to happen.
May not be back on for a bit. I have been selected to set up a different area, and have about 6 weeks to get everything ready, including training volunteers for the job. I think I am ready for the challenge, but it may take quite a bit of my time. We are also having the vet come back on Wed. for Spike - he has lost weight again, and was not eating, so our vet ran some blood work (which luckily came back in good shape), but he is dehydrated, so starting Wed, we are going to be giving him some injections of fluids and steroids for other issues he is having, and see where it goes from there.
