I'm with JJ on this one. Open is much nicer for large gatherings.

Jill-of-all-Trades far from having everything figured out! More info | Oct 08, 2012 08:32 | #8853 I agree that open is nice for large groups, but my sister's house has nowhere that isn't open. Even when the kids were upstairs playing you could hear every word they said. Our house is open too, but there's a door to the basement which cuts off a lot of noise. I like open that can be closed off. Like have the kitchen and dining room fully open to each other, but have to turn a corner to get to the living room, unless you open another door between the kitchen and living room. Melody

What if my jammies are rather.. um.. optional? Yes. Pyjama day was the day when everyone (if they wished) went to school in their jammies. No body showed up naked. There were a lot of long johns worn, and most people had slippers on. Good excuse to not break out the hair gel either. At least one guy would walk around in boxers... Melody

Technically, a student could go around naked as long as he had shoes on his feet, and he'd be in compliance with the dress code. I never saw anyone test that, though... My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.

I always wanted to test the no shoes, no shirt, no service. I would show up in shoes and a shirt and demand service. Not sure why, but call me JJ.
