Beautiful sunny Saturday here too. A good day to take the motorcycle out for a spin.

We're having a blah fall day - cloudy and damp with the temps right on freezing. Makes a person want to stay in bed all day.

Wait.. I though you like the cold.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

I just scored a brand new 48 gallon fish tank and stand off Craigslist for 50 bux, never been used. Looking forward to setting it up and getting fish, I love aquariums.

Congrats on the score Crissa. Fish Foo our Blue Beta has lived over a year in our home, quite the feat. We had gotten 2 at the time and the "Red" on lasted 3 months if that. Not sure how you pick good ones when you go to the fish store.

Pick one that is swimming...not one that is floating upside down. ;) :D

Beta's can be tough, I'll do a calm community tank with some platties and mollies and such, I like the smaller schooling fish in a pretty tank.

I need to buy a heater and filter, it came with the hood, light and stand. I usually set up a tank and leave it for a week or so before I put any fish in it, and I generally don't keep live plants.

I guess I would love a salt water tank. They look tricky to maintain though.
