Well at least it was until I read this story (external link) about the Arizona Humane Society.

Yeah I saw that, laughed, then cringed a little just because of the use of the pistol. It just sends an odd message or something. He could have killed it in a way that is more digestible by the general public.
I always got the message "you have no toys, we just let you play with them"

In Virginia, where my niece lives, they lend a hand to parents when kids get their driver license. The parent and child go before a judge in a court room and the judge gives the parent the license and tells them both that the license is the parents and they can revoke it at any time until the age of 18.

Kinda my take, just a bit overboard on the final act.

I think that is a great idea for new drivers. The only issue would be vindictive parents, using the license as a reward/punishment for things outside of driving. When I was 16, I needed my license for my job.

Good morning all.
Well at least it was until I read this story (external link) about the Arizona Humane Society.

That is sad, but we don't seem to be getting a full story in that article.

Well, I do have hordes of clamps in my shop, but it seems I need a few more longer (read expensive) ones. Off to the store I go. :D

I was lamenting my childhood bowl cut until I saw that Pete. Mom didn't have a straight bowl to cut your hair with? :p Love the tattersall collar.

Zane, did you ever get a summer buzz cut? My mother did that to me and my brothers several summers in a row. We looked like we'd just gotten into boot camp.

No I grew up in the 70's and 80's, hair was in. I was probably more shaggy than not. I mean I was not flowing lochs like Jim, just shaggy.
