go for 3-4 60-90 minutes walks a week (with a bunch of uphill),

I'd be happy to get up to this. So would Baxter.

Core is what I mostly work on as it is best for my back issues, I do a little cardio on the recumbent bike as a warm up.

I try to remember to do a lot of leg lifts and what they call bracing exercises at my desk during the day. bracing is like a fake crunch where you just tense everything up.

While my Tom didn't win again this week, his technical skills are improving greatly.

Jasper would go nuts on us if he didn't get out for a good hard run every day. We never miss a day with him, rain, shine, or cold. He is a good inspiration for us. :)
We are lucky to be able to walk right out our back gate onto a green strip that leads to the biggest municipal park in Canada.

What you call bracing is a great thing to do, thanks for reminding me as I have gotten slack at that lately. For a while I got into it lots, while driving is a good time too.

That you are. We work Baxter a bit with fetch and a lot when we go to my brother's or SIL's where he also plays with the fur cousins, but he, like us could use more exercise.

A tired dog is a good dog, also.:D

Crissa I love the concentration as the coach is talking to Tommy. You can tell he wants to learn and get better.

take it easy for the first month or so and start off with light weight's....otherwise you are gonna hurt yourself and not hurt your chances of not wanting to go back.

i've done this a few times, usually due to an injury which causes me not to be able to go for a while but then when i get back i have to start at light weights and find my good spot again.

I am a good sore tonight, but not going to push it. I am also working with one of my neighbors (and friend), who is a personal trainer. I will also start working out with her as we can due to scheduling. I overdid it last time, and I think that is why I stopped going

Jim - give Jasper some skritches for me. I miss the silly kid.

Crissa, great photos of Tommy. Glad his style is improving.

Made John go with me dress shopping. I had to get the dress for my brother's wedding in July. Ended up ordering this in Marine (dark blue) http://www.davidsbridal.com …s-Under-$100#BVRRWidgetID (external link).

It is the dress that my sister and I chose, as I did not get much imput from my brother and his Wife (they married last month in China) for their US wedding

Very nice. Dark blue sounds like a good choice.
