I looked at the Macbook Air, just couldn't justify it. The solid state hard drive is pretty cool, amazingly light weight...but I don't think it's versatile enough for what I intend to use a laptop for.

So far we're up to a 21.5" iMac, 13" MacBook Pro, iPad2, iPhone4 and iPhone 3GS...plus the iPods we never use anymore...and a Toshiba Windows7 laptop that I hate.

I considered it too, But because I have a big 27" machine at home I didn't feel the need to go all out of a MBP. The air is meant to be portable.

I know the feeling. I've gone apple crazy just because it's so much less trouble than my dell. My gf and I have the Iphone 4 and I've got the ipad 2... I use that almost more often than I use my laptop. Though I'm dying to get me a new 27" imac that's maxed out... MP pro/air would be a long way off, but the OS and the way they work with everything else is just awesome.

You can't really get a tablet that syncs with the phone you want and the laptop/desktop you have that's all the same brand. I know you pay a premium for apple's name, and you could easily make a hackintosh that hauls more ass for less money, but I'd just as well spend the $ for the resell value alone. Sidenote, I hate the word "fanboy". lol I'm just a 'fan'.
