Actually, in my defence, I've just read the rules at the start of the thread again, and there's no mention of people posting or not posting successive images, just the rules about keeping to the correct colour progression. Is this a general forum rule I'm not aware of, or was it a rule on Colours1 or Colours2 that didn't get cut & pasted to the start of colours3?

Thanks. It's not a general forum rule. The game is older here than I am, and all I know about its first two threads is what Post #1 says. Play has changed in two ways since that post was written. We no longer post colors intermediate between two of the major spectral ones, and each person puts up one color and waits. These are the current customs. In fact, a cycle of only six colors has prevailed starting with Post #2.
