So I haven't had this camera very long, but yesterday, the top wheel by the shutter button stopped working. I was doing some video and when I went to change settings, it no longer would work. Wouldn't change to the different pages in the menu either. It then suddenly started working again about a minute later, and I haven't had any other problems.

It's gripped and I didn't think to try the one on the grip at the time but has anyone had this problem?

Yes, that is a problem we heard of quite a lot: the wheel on the grip sometimes gets stuck 'in the middle', which renders the main control (top) dial on the camera unusable.
Jiggling the wheel on the grip helps sometimes; removing/reattaching the grip helps always.

What we see depends mainly on what we look for.

Oooh....maybe it was that. Makes sense.

Impossible. I had taken maybe 3 minutes of video.

I've had this same issue happen to me twice now. It lasts for about 30 minutes for me. I'm thinking about contacting Canon about it. Anyone else have this issue?
