I have to say the incredible versatility of a 16-35Lmk2 on a full frame. I went the minimal route and lugged my strobist kit and 16-35, 24L and 85L.

The bokeh on the 16-35L is suprisingly creamy pleasant coming from a UWA. I shot 35L for a "normal perspective" and loved the sharpness.

mix of 85mm and UWA lens (not used as uwa)..

My first thought was ... WOW... really love that first shot.. her eyes just capture my attention right off. :) Nice work! Glad you are enjoying the lens. :)

Thank you all for your supportive comments. Sometimes theres some personal touches when you do an onsite/remote photo session in the clients home.

So many more photos to edit. I wish I shot the photos with natural light but in this case I had no alternative so speedlight was my source.

Pulled the umbrella out (left the soft boxes at home) with PW flex then I said the heck with it and threw them back in the bag. I ended up bouncing light using similar techniques like "planet Niels" black foamie thing bouncing techniques. I am so comfortable and extremely efficient bouncing using walls.

I'm happy the squeeky toy was a perfect attention "weapon" :)

Great set Alan! It's not easy taking pictures of infants.
