(Pictures go here?)

According to Rokinon's facebook fanpage, this lens will be released late February/Early March of this year. The retail price will be about 600-700 USD (499 Euros), and no chipped version for Canon mount.

I gotta tell you. These guys are CLEARLY listening to what we want. Come on now, they've got a 14mm f/2.8, 35mm f/1.4, 85mm f/1.4 and now a 24mm f/1.4? (Amongst other lenses)

If money gets any tighter and I can afford to give up AF I'd buy a set of their primes.

Why do the Nikon versions get the chip but the Canons don't? The link in the OP's sig has info on the chip, but you need to attach it yourself!
I'm looking forward to this lens. I was thinking about getting the 25mm Zeiss f/2 when released but this will be about $1k less.

I saw this the other day. deciding if I need 24mm with 35mm. Or just wait to see what they release next. I have their 14 and 85 with the 35 on the way. If they ever do a 200 f2 or 2.8 I will be all manual focus.

The only info about the date is that it's late next month/early march for the release.
