Had a look at your link as well, some stuff in there that nearly 99.99999% of the inhabitants of our good planet will not get the change to see like you can. Very lucky (I am jealous!!!)

Close... Airbus 320 with the cost index set to 11. Flying upstream in the winter makes it feel like a blimp at times. Gotta save gas these days.

I hear ya.

We once blasted off from the east coast headed to SLC in our Hawker 850XP. Not long after level off, our fuel counter showed us landing with -1000 lbs of gas. Had to trust the flight plan figures that had us landing with the comfortable minimum of 2000 lbs.

Love seeing a cockpit shot, especially something a little different.

Yep, that's a sun visor. The side windows have translucent sun shades. I heard that the new Boeing 787 has cockpit windows that turn black with a flip of a switch. That will be awesome.

I think the passenger windows do it too if I'm not mistaken?

I know the passenger windows are electrochromatic, but I didn't know it applied to the cockpit (makes sense). The nice thing is that the crew can override window settings.
