Jan 25, 2012 16:33 | #3 I love the pose and this is the first time I think I really dig the selective coloring. When I first looked at the picture I didn't even notice a freaking huge staircase behind them. All I saw was the obviously happy couple and a beautiful dress. Nice work. Ann Robinson

Even so, they look a little underexposed, and your watermark really hurts the image. It takes a long time to figure out a solid watermark, but I would REALLY focus on that. Prospective clients will get turned off very easily with it. Bryan

Jan 30, 2012 16:09 | #9 Thanks for the replies. I do not do much selective color. I like this one and the bride loved it so I shared it www.michaelrhodesphotography.com

And as Bryan has said, does seem a little unerexposed. Its lacking POP or WOW factor, which i think you need if your gonna post just ONE photo. Mark

The stairs fight for attention as the subject of this photo. Also the position and angle of the camera could have been improved. All I see is the teeth of the bride and the groom's head. It's not necessary to always include all of people in the people photo (you include their feet which makes the view more snapshoty in my opinion).

Feb 04, 2012 08:49 | #15 Thanks for everyones input. I know it could have been better. This was shot in a candle store that was open at the time with about 25 customers inside. I'm backed up against a display and held people from coming down the stairs. Total time to take this shot was less than a minute. We had to walk through the candle shop to get to the hall the candle company rents out. www.michaelrhodesphotography.com
