Hi All,

I spent a few days in Albany WA and visited many places but seemed to be there at the wrong time of day for shooting.

The Wind Farm was an exception:

Wow, this is massive! It looks so dynamic (and a bit threatening: the sky)
The colours are great (external link), very vibrant. The rain and sea add a nice touch.
I just love wind parks. reminds me of home :)

Love it. I wonder what it would have looked like shot at, say, 10 second ss

Cool picture! I like the moody sky and the green foreground (often wind farm shots look more like prairie).

I live in NY so my first thought was Albany, NY and I was going to ask where the wind farm was. Makes more sense now that I see it's WA. :P

One of only a few occasions when the clouds were your friend Wayne; they add mightily to the overall feel of a very nice capture. Thx for bringing it to us!

That was the same thing that made me open the thread. I also work in the industry - the first thing I noticed was the terrain - it must have been murder working there...;):D

just a few of my thoughts...

And just to save any further confusion, that's WA as in Western Australia, not Washington. ;)

I like the overall exposure, I love the clouds, and your processing is great.

I'm not really digging the composition however. I feel the bottom third is pretty empty, and yeah I know there are some bushes there but they don't really add much IMO. A tighter framing of the poles I think would have worked better, and perhaps with some empty space towards the right.

I also see a landscape shot here too with the windfarm in the left side of the image, and the right side being just sky and land.
