35mm is right under 500, 85 is around 285, the 14 i believe is around the same range give or take with the 85.

I'd think about picking this one up.

85mm f1.4 - $280
8mm f3.5 fisheye - $290
14mm f2.8 - $380
35mm f1.4 - $500ish (varies a bit but you can find them in the $480's)

I have the fisheye and the 35mm f1.4. They are both pretty damn good. I got my 35mm on sale for $370 tho :D

OMFSM!

I meant expensive compared to other samyang lenses... :D

sure it's still very cheap compared to canon's or nikon's offerings, but for 600, I would think twice...

I have the 14mm, and 35mm and they are reasonably cheaper than 600 euro as listed by others..

There are better value alternatives out there. 400-450 bucks and I'd open my wallet.

From a M43 perspective its expensive, its more than the Leica 25mm f/1.4 and not much less than the Voigtlander NOKTON 25mm f/0.95!

You can't compare it with those lenses, because of the 2x crop factor on m43. The only alternative on m43 is the Olympus 12mm f/2 at about $750. Note that this is equivalent to a 24mm f/4 in terms of depth of field, i.e. three stops slower.

Compared to Canon's $1500 beast it's pretty affordable!

having shot a lot of manual focus I would not have a problem using one of these.

Sigma make a decent quality 24 1.8 macro that you can pick up for cheaper. I'll take the AF, closer MFD and price of the Sigma.

That's f1.8, though. And if the other lenses are any indicator, this will be in a whole different league, optically.
