Reader not seeing card

My Sandisk Ultra II isn't recognized by my GE USB 2.0 card reader. It does see my SimpleTech card. I upgraded my firmwear on my 350xt to 1.0.3 and check for errors in the tools menu.
Anyone else have this or simular problems?

That happen to me once, but luckly after i dumped the pics to HDD. I reformatted in camera and it work again. as a matter of fact it was a ultra II.

Welcome to the forum.

Put your card in the cardreader and format it as FAT32 in your computer.
Not a quick format but a full format. Than put your card in your camera
and format it agian in your camera. If this don't help then you have
a faulty card and have to bring it back for exchange or repair.
Offcourse you have to use another cardreader to do the format in the
computer. Or maybee your cardreader is to old to recognize the new card.
I've read somewhere that some older cardreaders have problems reading
new and high capacitie cards.
