Help with an ID, please?

I saw these in the neighbor's yard today, and tried to get a decent shot with my 70-200 and 1.4 extender, as it was all I had with me. I then came home and tried to ID them, and google isn't giving it up. Can someone let me know what they are, please?

Thanks, everyone! I remember a painting of one of these birds at my grandmother's house many (many!) years ago, but I couldn't for the life of me remember what they were!

This is a huge crop - almost 100%. I know I need a longer lens for birds and wildlife, and my 80-400 is just too heavy to carry around. I'm debating getting a 400 5.6 or a 100-400 zoom, but can't decide, and would need to sell my 80-400.... Decisions, decisions...
