What a great shot. Nothing in particular in the image stands out but the whole image just grabbed me.

Stumbled on this - by accident. I enjoy HDR - both in more natural images, and also overdone for deliberate effect.

Here's a more natural one, which I think is actually not true HDR but six virtual copies in Lightroom to try cope with the dynamic range.

Handheld in AEB mode, Aligned and processed with Photomatrix.
If you look at the branches in the upper right and on the left, (in the originals) you can see that I did not hold the camera as still as I would like to think I can for 3 quick shots.

It's not the natural part, it's the being able to paint in bits from a particular exposure on the fly...
