nice shot, love the background and shirt, but agree - something is off in the face.

Why does the silo and conveyor on the left side in the background seem pixelated? An error? Odd effect? Either way it should be fixed somehow.

I think that is an anomaly caused by the horizontal lines on the silo and the elevator crossing in front at an angle. It does look weird.

That's the shadow being cast onto the corrugated side of the silo, then being overlaid by a straight object. Natural, but yes, still a little distracting.
