Talking of Dover I was parked this lunchtime in my usual stop in the CP along South Mil Rd, great view of the port comings & goings. But I always see folk walk off along the nearby paths...............wh​at is there to explore???

If it the car park I'm thinking of your about 20 yards or less from some old batteries and further along the path is an old casemate then further still is the Drop Redoubt all of which a few of us visited when we went to Connaught Barracks a couple of years back.

Dennis has confirmed he can't come so there's still a spot available for tomorrow's final at Epson HQ in Hemel Hempsted at 12.30. First one to reply and say they want it gets it.

Re-quoting this for a last minute push. Although as I had been asked to provide all our attendees names in advance I wouldn't be sure whether they'd let you in...but I don't see why they shouldn't!

Haha! I would love to, but i have to sit in a meeting with the marketing bods from a supermarket that begins with T and ends in esco. Shhhh - i never said nowt to nobody....right?

Not sure, hopefully not too late. 5ish would be handy although it would spit us out right on rush hour.

Dan - I had another idea - what about rusty cars.... scrap yards etc. and also reclamation yards - in other words - one person's decay is another person's treasure etc. Full of bright ideas me

Yes, earlier would be good...if it's arrive at 12.30, lunch, talks from pro photographers and the judging of the final it would need a few hours. I wonder if one of last year's attendees could shed some light?
