I'm sure someone will quote them if he doesn't happen to see them.
Although, it's a very good example of how these huge spiders are effectively camoflagued against a garden path. You'd never see them until they happen to run onto your shoe.

Matt Peters wrote in post #13974978 I guess it's all about the positioning of the lights.. I have always had two catch lights in the eyes! hmm I always aim for one catchlight in each eye, not two. I remember a photographer saying to me when were talking about lights " there's only one sun in the sky" Horses for courses I think. bridge99 wrote in post #13975034 with this chap we used two lights/softboxes but only one CL in each eye, perhaps its different with people, not that it looks odd or anything I just wondered ![]() not sure again. bridge99 wrote in post #13975155 have any of you seen this site? http://www.72dpi.com/ I saw someone on 500px talking about it in the comments next to their image, guess it's always going to be like this - people move from one site to the next. It definitely looks better with only 1 catchlight IMO though. bridge99 wrote in post #13975125 couple of owl pics while im on my own in here..

I wonder if a) that was natural and his eyes are always slightly different or b) is it because two lights are lighting his eyes or c) one light stronger than the other - were they both at the same strength? Thanks Jonathan - yeah, I did wonder whether to put a spider warning out first lol. You'd never see them until they happen to run onto your shoe. Pete, these arent particularly large. These are the outside ones - I have never seen one of this particular type of Wolf spider indoors. These must be fairly youngish ones as they werent that big really. They do jump a lot and run pretty fast thought. Thanks Mike.
