I'm up for the animals trip.
Let me know if you need any props etc, I know Mark must have the set ups down to a tee now.

LindaB wrote in post #13975172 Adrian, they dont look that bad. What lense and settings were you using then? Did you use a flash at all? (I tried to look at your exif but its not viewable). Sometimes the DoF is so shallow anyway that the only way round it is to photo stack (but Im sure you already knew that). Sounds like the poor little thing has had quite a tough time. At least she picked the right drive to wander up Do let us know more when you are able to. If its the breed that I think it could be, they are beautiful cats.Linda LindaB wrote in post #13975210 Some recent macro's from me: One of my orchids: A darker variety of crocus in the garden: Linda Love those orchid pics Adrian

I have managed to arrange weekend access for 15 people to my college exotic species collection. The cost of the event will be £50 each (or more if you feel willing, it goes to the animal unit which is a charity). For this we get access to take photos for the whole day. It's at the Berkshire College of Agriculture (just off the m40 at high Wycombe). The access is fairly flexible for dates (basically I would like to fill all 15 slots, so it's in our interest to agree a mutual date). Preferably a Saturday for me and the staff. Please send me a pm if you are provisionally interested and I will compile a list. If this event goes well, I will see if I can make it a regular meeting. The collection has a variety of exotic species, which should appeal to everyone. I'm proposing the following dates, 24th march, 31st march, 7th April say which one is best! So what's peoples thoughts? Me please!!!! Rob

Plenty to keep us busy for the day. There's also exotic outdoors too, I will ask about that, but indoors would keep us busy probably. Outdoors, llamas, alpacas, kune kune pigs, emu, wallabies. Plus other livestock. It's basically a large collection of animals. I will visit exotics tomorrow and get a full species list, if that helps. Sounds very interesting...............so please keep me in the loop and once there is a date consensus I will be able to say 100% That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans
