Mike, are you still in Sandwich? I've been reading reports of Hoopoes in Sandwich all week and really should've driven down to see them.

Yes, I'll keep my eyes peeled. Got a link to those reports??

Ian did you find a way to stop your Desire telling you it has low disc space as mine is doing this even when I take apps off, the more I take off the less space it seems to have I've evn uninstalled all the updates and this hasn't helpped.

nar mine takes away "phone" space even if you install something onto the SD card. Its naff. I think you need to root your phone to get round this problem. Its very annoying.

Same as mine then I've a 4gb card in it which has 3.69gb but only 12mb left on the phone with only the factory installed apps on, roll on september when the contract is up and I can change it.

Yeah, I need to read up about HTC One and Samsung, I like the android system but I think its the phones issues not the OS. Mine must be up for renewal soon aswell.

I have that app the desire still takes the phone memory, its a very poor design feature.

I've tried that app but it didn't move the apps that are preinstalled and all the others I could put on the sd card anyway. As Ian said it' a bad design flaw on the phone I am looking at the HTC One as my next phone though I could use my brother's iPhone If I cut down the sim card but I don't like the interface on it.

Hi all been a manic week.

Those wedding photos were truly awful.
Those thinking of the one series, I have just got the one x and it is a great improvement even over my desire HD. Far more responsive and battery life is about the same as the HD.

Hopefully have time to pp some photos tomorrow, including the last 2 weeks 52 week shots.

Helloey - not been around much this week - been v busy working and getting ready for hols - which is where we are now :D in Norfolk. If you're on my fb you'll see what happened 10 mins after we arrived - barn owl hunting in the field next to the cottage. Twas about 6pm by then so ISO was pretty high, but it was very exciting - they're amazing to watch. Bring on the rest of the week :D
Hope you're all ok and shooting lots of stunning pics :D
