Some lovely owl shots Penel. Box Brownie wrote in post #14304456 On a side note re raptors ,we came home this afternoon to the second pile of feathers in 5 days. Both Collared Doves and maybe juvenilles. Never seen it around but a neighbour said last year he had seen a Sparrowhawk, that time we had feathers also. Just where do Sparrowhawks hangout??? Meant add to this recent pile of feathers is right by our bird feeding station approx 10ft from the patio doors! Sparrowhawks are just about everywhere - they are very fast when they fly in for the kill and you might not even know they are around. We have one every now and then in our garden - but touch wood they havent left a pile of feathers yet. Apologies to anyone bored of my ww2 photos - I promise not to spam too many. ( oh and thanks for the html - bbcode converter link Sylvester. Works like a charm) Great shot mate. Love the framing of this one, and the processing just gets better Great shot. Still think you'd have to be a little bit mental to jump into that water. Mike wrote in post #14309391 Evening all. Bloody hippies! adrian5127 wrote in post #14311791 Thanks Kevin, we must be about the only country that does not have it as a bank holiday!! There can't be that many, that's for sure. I was about to say someone should run with 'St. George's day as a bank holiday' for their political platform and I would vote for them. But then I thought that's very likely something the BNP would do so had to remove that bit http://www.evilkitchen.ca
