Thanks Adrian. Zenfolio looks quite good and reasonably cheap. When I get back to blighty I'll sign up for a trial account see how I get on.

I use a Zenfolio, as it is.I think Mike uses them as well but its badged to his web site. Linda also has an account.
Zenfolio use Photobox for printing, I've not had any problems. However in the UK they also use One Vision Imaging.
I've not had any problems with Zenfolio and it easy to use and up load photos
If you are going that way, use my Referral Code: RK8-RBC-N1Z and you will get 10% discount

Yes, I have been really happy with Zenfolio, very easy to use. YOu can use their template or create your own. I have the basic account which I feel is reasonable and think its good value for money compared with the crap that PBase dished out to its long-standing customers.

Dont forget if you want to open account with Zenfolio you can use a code from anyone who is already a member and you get a small discount which is added as a credit (and the person whose number you use gets a small credit).

I have never ordered prints from there but I see no reason to doubt how good it is as many professional photographers use it.

Hover / drone fly, Eristalis pertinax

and a Nettle weevil
IMAGE: http://lindabuckell.zenfolio.com/img/s3/v41/p262530351-4.jpg

and one of the most creepiest flies you will ever encounter lol - this is a parasitic fly of bumble bees, its horrible really as it lays an egg on a bumble bee which then grows inside the bumble and emerges - yuk
I think this one hasnt long emerged as the face hasnt filled out properly

Sly like the look of your website but one of the links does not work.

Take this picture, stills and then the lifestyle link is not found.

Is it easy to set up the client galleries and are they user friendly?

Evening all, and a happy st George's day.

I had a great time yesterday at Brands even with the coupld of showers.

I took a few shots, but nothing amazing. I couldn't bring myself to leave the stands. Adrian's panning shot of the truck is a keeper. I really like it.

What do you think?

Wayne like these two especially the first.

They have widened the tarmac by at least ten foot going round druids so it was a bit tamer there.

Easy to see where the horror writers and artists get their ideas from

Like these two, the focussing on the other one is a little off for me

edit not sure why but the link to the first one is not working in my quote

blimey that's a long holiday - gonna go anywhere nice?

I'm supposed to buy a holiday, well I've been meaning to go and buy it the past two months but keep forgetting, I think it's probably all sold out by now. The wife wants to go to Croatia.

I think a bit of a road trip to Scotland will be on the cards too :)

Quick question for the wedding photo crowd. I'm currently using Photobox for online gallery purchases and I'm finding it very poor for user friendliness, with half the time its hard to order the photos you want and the other half the gallery is blocked to the couple. What websites are people using/recommend for online printing/gallery for your sites? I could look at a wordpress plugin that lets me do this (if one exists) but would prefer direct online printing. Thanks

Yes, Zenfolio is good. I also used to use photobox but Zen is much better by far (and it should be as Photobox was free and Zen isn't). Here's my Zen site: http://www.sales.mikegreenphotography.co.uk/gallery (external link)

Morning all!

Speaking of Zenfolio.. Can you make up packages for sale on there? That is the one thing I don't like about Photobox is that I can't do that so every thing has to be sold at a set price and I can't make better offers for clients!

Morning folks. Had a lovely St. Georges day yesterday as I received my permanent leave to remain in the post. I'm now officially difficult to remove from the country!

Yes, you can change prices to your heart's content and have different pricing for different galleries.

Nice set of bugs Linda, I took some pics of a Red-Tailed Bumblebee a few weeks ago with lots of red parasites attached to the poor thing, I wonder if they were the same sort of thing as your parasitic fly, I hope not..
