The trouble there is that I have absolutely no patience whatsoever :)

Must wait, must wait, must wait...

me neither but I will wait for a bit on this one for the price to settle to a reasonable level, the MTF charts look great, much nicer curves than the older version..

Compared to the RRP of the 24-70mkII it's not too pricey... :p

It's a bit like the housing market. I'm glad I bought most of my lenses over 5 years ago ;)

Yea, I suspect a 135 II IS would be pricy as well. Hard to improve on that lens anyway :)

the pre order RRP is always stupid, seemingly everyone charges the same then drops on release once they know the margins...

I am not sure how much money they'll be charging for the next versions of the 7D & 5D mkII - but the latter could be looking like over £3k based on these RRPs?!

better get my cameras serviced and start looking after them I think! :D

Nice light JD, Id try and lighten the head a little as its hard to make out the features, I'd also crop that distraction on the right hand side - I think you've got a great shot on your hands! :D

I'll echo what lee said I think you have a great shot on your hands there.

Agree with the PP comments, I want to selectively brighten the head but PS Express on my iPad won't do that. Have to wait till I get home.

@Penel - those Alpacas are just full of personality that you captured well.

@Kevin - loving Grenwich shot
