while I was in a meeting today my boss wanted to show somebody some of my pics so he typed my name into google as you do and came up with a link from the Sun that I didnt know about, which is nice as I hadn't been paid for them and probably never would have if he hadn't found them.
Bit of a rubbish write up as they have taken bits out of what I told them and changed it which is what the press is good at I suppose..

Saw your FB comment on this link (external link) (new 24-70 at Park Cameras) Matt. It seems crazy expensive doesn't it??

Ouch fingers crossed the price will come down or they will not be selling that many

What was the slogan that went with this?

d'oh, confused.com :oops::D

thanks for the positive comments about the alpaca pics and the votes on 500px. Really hope it snows again, I'll be straight back down there - apparently when they woke up on Sunday morning the alpacas were asleep in the snow, covered in the stuff - awwww. Such gentle "other world" creatures.

Yes they are raw. It sees them in PSE 8 but cannot view them and sees the camera, but not the shots.

You can view the RAW in zoom browser, and LR3 will also display them and you can edit them.
Sometimes I save them as RAW and JPG so that I can do what I need to.

Also try FastStone browser. It's free and faster than the Canon software.

Wayne,

My money would be on your version of DPP being prior to the release of the G10. It may sound dumb but RAW files from a G10 are different to those from a 550D or a 40D. Go to:

http://www.canon.co.uk …aspx?type=download&page=1 (external link)

Download the latest version of DPP from there. Won't affect your other camera.
