A build you don't see too often any more......v.3rd gen Camaro

A good friend of mine just finally finished the build on his 1987 Iroc, originally built for a "time attack" car. It also surved a multi-purpose of doing some top speed events at the local airstrips for the 'standing mile' runs. Full run-down on the car, if anyone is curious. Should be a 750rwhp++ car, boosted........still through a TPI intake.

As for the shots, this is a newish parking deck.....which has LED lights. It makes for interesting light on the subject......gives it more of a blue tint.

Nice shots and that car is a beaut. Real keen on the front splitter and 750hp through a tpi intake, wow. Not many people realize how great the 3rd gen is for high speed events. It has the lowest drag coefficient of any generation f-body. I always enjoy seeing one tastefully done up.

Yes, it is quite a feat in itself to get those power numbers. The car itself is already pretty accomplished on the standing mile.....and previously had some ridiculous power numbers through a warmed over 305 block, which is something also unheard of.

I'm sure it'll do very well, once the new setup gets finished with the tune (now sporting a 350 block, instead of the 305 block that was being pushed to the max). But speaking of whistling.......save some time and FF to around 2 minutes. This is him coming to the top of the parking deck, where we first were going to shoot. He was setting off car alarms on every level.....you can hear alarms from the beginning.

I fixed picture 2, found some fingerprints that I somehow missed.....and took the light reflections out. Might have to refresh this thread if you looked at it previously.

As much as I don't like number three, I think I really do. I'm curious if it would have been better shot vertically centered on the wheel? That would equalize the lens distortion. Did you happen to try that shot?

Thanks. I didn't actually, I was going for the distortion.

Great series, those splitter struts remind my of the 1st gen Nascar COT.

#4 for the win. Don't see many of the fox bodies around much anymore. Good to see this one.
