400 5.6L smokes it. Sigma 50-500 OS smokes it. 400 DO smokes it. 300 2.8 w/1.4x sure as heck smokes it.

i would not mind a 400D except the fact that all the samples i have seen look terrible!!!

the 300 2.8 is cost to much

and 50-500 and 400 5.6 i would have got if i was not happy with the TC.

Yeah, you really have to stop down to 5.6 to get the most out of the 400 DO. Then again you're shooting that 70-200 @ 400mm 5.6 anyhow.

I never did get the point of those collectors editions which you had to shell out extra for before release. I haven't finished ME1 yet, let alone started ME2 (which I paid $5 for more than 6 months ago).

They're for fans of the specific game, they give you extra content, art books, and some fun things usually...

So expensive. It would make sense if they made a lot and marked the pricing down along with the regular games at years end. But people actually pay full price and they're always gone fast >.>

I could check on ebay 2 years later and buy that same collectors set for 1/4 the price
