There's no way to be sure....

That's a big jump from one gen to the other... then again they got rid of the camera (The 1D) that was right above it, so there is a larger gap between the 5D and 1D, so it's possible.

i see. *sigh* wonder if im really up to getting one lol. i want it but its just so expensive. i kinda dont want to settle for a 5d2, i want new technology :P

on a side note. i did spend $2.8k on a sword

There have been some rumors about canon releasing an entry-level FF body (ie 6D) which would effectively be a gimped 5d2. That would provide room for an improved 5D model. Advanced AF system is a major change--it's essentially the difference between the 60D and 7D, which apparently merits a $500 price difference.

Hmm yeah... and there have been rumors of a 3D which would bridge the gap between even a higher priced 5D and the 1Dx (especially since we don't know price wise where it will land).

That's why I said there is just not way to be sure, we'll just have to wait until it's announced.

How far does the light reach with it?

With flash light adjusted for 50mm, I was pretty easily able to shine light on a tree about 150 feet away.

Or we can break into canon's headquarters and do a little espionage.

I like that plan. Let's go get us some prototypes!

It would work well. I don't know why I didn't buy one of these sooner.

Oh, that's a good idea too. I was thinking we could all just leave a steamer on the head-honchos desk :D
