Talking to oneself is the first sign of madness.

I am not denying nor confirming that

They've already sold millions in 3 months. It's already gone far.

Considering I keep an active Prime membership, having a kindle fire is a no-brainer for me. Free movie and book rentals.

how's the resolution on that thing? does it still come preregistered? that seems to be the number 1 complaint...plus the fact that you can't lock the device or something

I was actually going for the 35L but hearing rumors that it will be replaced soon had me lean toward the 50L. Im getting rid of my 17-40L and 24-70 and replacing the range with primes. Only zoom ill have is the 70-200mkII bcoz its the beesknees!

 Yeah I'm selling my 35L partially cause of that - but more so cause I want the 5DII. I could care less about the 5DIII if in fact rumors are true that it is going to be $3K+.

I would love to own a 70-200mkII though but that will probably be in another year or so.. that is if I work a ton this summer and manage to save up for it :D

thats exactly what I'm doing. only I'm going to keep the 24-105 until i fill the focal range. but the next purchase is going to be a 5d3 or a super tele.

why the roll eyes? I seriously don't find the 50mm on FF to be useful...I need longer or wider. 50mm seems not wide enough nor long enough

In a word? Expensive. For $5000 with no stabilization, it needs to be f/4 instead of f/4.5. Makes a huge difference.

gets good reviews though.

On a crop, I prefer 35mm. Instead of 500mm, I'd take the longest lens available. I'd want the 1200mm to be my lens if it was financially possible :p
