yeap correct... I think this is their first FX lens right? with Tokina's good UWA reputation I am pretty certain this would be a big hit..specially to those who have very good experience with the Tokina 11-16 :D

Umm I'm not sure, it very well could be their first EF/FX lens.

hmmm looks like the Nikon 24-70mm have a huge distortion at 24mm :lol: easily correctable though :lol:

I just confirmed it by reading a couple of reviews...

I don't mind the distortion Steven. The 24-70 will be primarily a landscape/walk around lens. :)

yes that's exactly why I trade the 16-35mm Julian...if I gotta have one lens its gotta be the boring mid range zoom :lol:

and the distortion is uniform so its just a one click correction on lightroom :lol:

Nice! Yeah if you're in LR what I do it on the sliders where you can see ever color one under the other (in the B&W conversion area), I just slide the purple and magenta sliders to -50 and you'll see a huge reduction in CA.
