The closer to $100 the better :p.. but I'll spend more if it's going to make a difference, preferably nothing $200+ or so.

Since I started cycling non of my jeans fit anymore... I need some new ones.

It's not so much about washing actually - but it's all about denim. The more you wear the more faded they'll become. I know many people think it's gross, but usually I only wash my pair 2 times a year. But that brand is Samurais and they are like $300+ but they retain their indigo really well and those are for hardcore denim addicts like me.. Luckily a study was done proving that it isn't that dirty

I would just recommend a pair of APCs though they fit great and produce great results. The sizing is weird though because they're vanity sized so you have to size down 2 sizes from your normal jeans size.

I have a few pairs of STF $40 levis. I don't really care though I have my 2 expensive pairs and I've seen few pairs that are 10 years old.. so lets say you only spend $350 on a pair thats ~$35/year.

I have tons of $30 jeans that were sized 32... I had them for close to 10 years too then I started ballooning, I can't fit in any of them  I need a size 34-36 now :(

so I gave like 14 jeans, khaki pants together with a lot of used clothes last December to the flood victims in southern Philippines. all were in relatively good condition :D

When I mean 10 years old though - I mean worn probably straight for 8 out of those 10 years . But yeah I hope I don't balloon soon... if ever

At least you helped a cause though :)
