FNH is good, 9 mm ammo is cheaper, SAS still carry them but they train triple tap, i prefer 40 cal newer, higher velocity and weight, I also shoot .45
Here is my stable of Colts 1911 three .45 one 9 mm, Vietnam war era. I also regularly carry a Glock sub compact in 40 and HKUSP in 40

So you think the FNH would be a good home protection plus sport gun? I want a .40 cal but i know .9mm is cheaper and if in the event I need to use it for protection it can still be lethal to an intruder

Yes, FNH 9 mm would be good, but I do not have an FNH pistol, I have their rifle P90 and tactical shotgun.
I am thinking og getting a Gen 4 Glock and maybe get one in 9 mm for my wife.

Why Nikon?

cause its gonna be the same price either way..... better AF in its class for now..... the 14-24..... more advanced Flash system..... and im a fan of the more natural (cooler) color rendition that they produce plus the ergonomics

Im also a fan of the P229 but i like the size of the 226 better (bigger more comfortable)
