Another thing that's awesome are hush puppies, my cousins in Maryland introduced me to them a few years ago while visiting. What they are are chunks of cornbread battered and deep fried and you dip them in honey, so good.

I can just feel my arteries clogging just THINKING about those... lol

Oh brother :) We all need to go out shooting again. Maybe I'll take off my clothes, run through the city and we can do a series entitled "Urban Nudes".

I need to start drinking again. Being sober is grossly overrated.

I'm from the South originally and I can really say that New England does not know hushpuppies. A few places will serve them on the menu, but it's totally not right.

As a kid, I used to eat my hushpuppies with ketchup. Not say that's right... but it was good.

They say they can get them closer to them but they're terrible. They drive over to Solomons from Hughesville and only ever get them from that one restaruant. To them it's akin to blasphemy to suggest getting them anywhere else.

You think that's bad, you should have seen the reaction when I told my doctor about mac&cheese stuffed bacon wrapped meatloaf! She nearly lost her mind standing there yelling at me, the whole time I couldn't stop laughing.

All of this food talk...

The WORST thing I've ever eaten healthwise has to be this:

IMAGE: http://msnbcmedia1.msn.com/j/msnbc/Components/Photos/041116/041116_monsterTB.grid-6x2.jpg

Hardee's (known elsewhere in the US as Carl's Jr) 1400+ calorie Monster Thickburger. The first time I had it, it took me 30 minutes to eat. My stomach hated me for half a week.

The 2nd time I was really drunk and hungry, so I actually finished it in a decent time.

Next month though, I'll be home for my girlfriend's sister's wedding in Des Moines, Iowa and the Iowa State Fair will be going on.

Just look at all of the great food selections I get to choose from:

My brothers "hangover sammich", run a doughnut though a bagel slicer, egg, bacon, and sausage. Disgusting.

My lunch/breakfast/early dinner today after a shoot.

Then had another late late dinner just now.. just got home..

I damn well needed it after today

Bad times today..
One of my new 5dmk2's decided to take a ****. I mean, when I got it last week- I checked it out took a few snaps. It went back in the box until I used it today. Screen goes into multi colored static when I hit LIVEVIEW. Then I try to turn it off and it says BUSY on the LCD screen. Won't do anything afterwards unless I pull the battery. Called Canon, didn't have any in stock so it's going to be a return.. ugh. Atleast I'll be 1680 bucks richer.

To make things worse, GF dropped one of my lenses today and it's not focusing right anymore. Thinks it's in focus but through viewfinder and the actual file, the pics look OOF.

Haven't had any accidents until today!

Luckily I still had 2 other 5dmk2's to shoot with. (Was using 2, swapping back and forth on a video tripod to keep myself from changing lenses). Used a 15FE and a 135L and 24-70L. Going back tomorrow to do more shooting..

edit- camera is working now. Too risky to use on site though. Still going to RMA it. $1700 bucks for the risk of paper weight is too rich for my blood lol

And you know what will happen.... if you keep it, you'll take it on-site, and it will fart on ya again... glad you are still returning it.

The only time I ever eat at McDonalds these days is mornings when I have a hangover, bacon egg and cheese biscuit usually does the trick

I'm starting to reeeeeeally miss 7D's AF/Drive options. The images, however, are dreamy.

It seems to hunt a little bit in low light and I have to readjust get used to focus-recompose again. I haven't done that in a long time.

I miss venturing into the Boston area... ever since I left my job, the only times I go in are with my family to Franklin Park Zoo or the Museum of Science. Which reminds me... Franklin Park Zoo is opening a huge new playground on the 15th. My son can't wait to go, keeps asking when it will be open.
