LOL ... just this thread and a couple of concert togs I know who were out of town! But we never slowed down and still didn't get all the options in! I did notice that there are too damn many tourists in Boston! There's hardly a place to stand to photograph all the stunning history and architecture!!!
Two long walking tours: Freedom Trail and North End, 7 hour Grayline Tour of Boston, Lexington and Concord, Beantown Trolley tour of the city plus MIT and environs. We hit the subway for two stops and Anna (age 10) was totally freaked out so we just walked back to the hotel ... she hated it when she was 8 months old the last time we were here.
I lived in Marblehead (my people are from New England, arrived in 1629 at Ipswich) for a couple of years with my folks before the service. Worked in Lynn making jet helicopter engines for GE. I really enjoy it but the visits (my wife is still there for a business trip to Raytheon Waltham) are way, way too short to really appreciate all there is to offer.
