Check out my Flickr, most of the shots are a Canon 6D, Sigma 35mm.

Thanks. I went ahead and ordered it yesterday anyway. Should be here tomorrow or Friday.

Have a shoot on the Summit of Mt. Washington from early tomorrow morning until the next afternoon. Anyone been up there in the winter? Any tips for that kind of climate, other than the obvious battery warming, etc?

Given the amount of snow we've had, you should wear some good winter gear - boots, pants, etc - to ensure sure footing and that you stay warm and not fall. Last time we were there, we drove up halfway and didn't want to pay the $50 per person to take the bus up to the top. It was already pretty cold. Word was that the snow and ice (last year) created some slippery conditions.

Seriously... those chemical heatpacks, your mountain gear... it's windy up there.

Did you get my email?

I was a complete idiot today.

First, I tried walking up Horn Pound Mountain this afternoon with a good chunk of my gear. Not fun sliding backwards down the trail with ~$6000 around your neck.

Second, I was held up at gunpoint and lost $900. I think I'll stick to dealing with photographers. They're shooting tends to be less deadly.

Tonight at the Middle East was a benefit concert for my friend who was murdered on New Years.

I got to be the event's main photographer. It was a fantastic way to celebrate his life and all those he touched before he was taken from us.
