Good photo op tomorrow!!

@BostonTweet: Shakers Wanted: #BostonShake, a massive public version of the Harlem Shake, is filming tomorrow (12:30) in PO Square https://t.co/Rt6EzhVOnt (external link)

I work just around the corner. 12:30 you say? Haha... I think I'll be around. I'm not clicking any links, because I'm at work and I have no idea what that shake is.

Second, I was held up at gunpoint and lost $900. I think I'll stick to dealing with photographers. They're shooting tends to be less deadly.

What's this? Were you buying something from Craigslist? Hope you weren't harmed any other way.

Might have to take the new lens out for this. I am right around the corner as well.

A few from LNY in Chinatown. I'm working with Andrews techniques and playing around with them. I think the film-y looks works well for the lion shots.

My fav from the set

Yeah. The one time I didn't follow my usual protocol, too. Was walking toward a gas station in Brockton when the guy turned around and started probing me with his handgun. Fortunately I anticipated it about five seconds before it happened. Lucky for him I decided not to knee and head butt him because I was worried he might shoot himself. Bumbling fool. I'd rather lose about three months of savings than possibly seriously harm someone. If only I had been armed with my 1D3 and flash... :p

The police think I may have been his fifth victim. They told me to run him over if I see him on the street and that they'd take care of the rest.

A day later I feel a little bit better about some of the photos I got from Horn Pond.

@Riles - Glad that you weren't injured.

On a separate note, is the Spyder that Scott has mentioned the best for calibrating a monitor? I was editing a few quick snaps with the Sigma 35 to a point that I was happy with and when looking at them on a few different devices, I noticed that the color on a number of my photos look off.

Ya know, I might make this work. Look for a fat guy in a white clean room suit with an orange/red wig.

Spyder is good. The problem is that most electronic devices aren't calibrated, so even the photos that look good on my calibrated IPS monitor don't look as good on my uncalibrated TN panels at work.
