The scene at PO Sq was pretty tame. More people were watching or taking pictures than actually taking part in the dancing. Doesn't bother me, I just wanted to see the lens in action.

Can't wait to see the pics! I'm still bogged down at work, never made it.

go on gmail to where the person sent you a message. look for the "reply" box. next to it will be an upsidedown arrow box. click that and click "show original". scroll a few lines down the text and locate the IP next to "received from". thats the origin IP. if he's smart and used a proxy, it'll be pretty hard to find him...but if he's dumb like most criminals are, you should be able to locate him. when you find that information, send the IP to my PM, or take a screen shot and email it to intrepid1999@gmail.com (external link). i'll forward it to my brother. ;)

I've seen Britain's Got Talent... You can go back to the UK... they need you more than we do.

talent as in hes good at finding people over the interwebz. he's done work for various agencies of the government and helped to find criminals who thought they were being anonymous on the interwebz. crimes such as child trafficking, gun trafficking, drugs...etc...prostitution...

if you have an ip and are looking for help to find out who this person is, all im offering is a potential solution. if not...no big deal...carry on. take it to the cops, as they will likely be able to offer you a solution as well. even if its a "private" ip.

I wouldn't be too sure about that. The "talent" over here really is something!

Scott... what have you learned about extreme cold shooting so far?

Not too much. I was prepared in terms of clothing etc...climbing gear, that stuff...shooting in the cold....super cold...not too much different, just a lot harder. There is no one at the summit really, so I left my gear outside the whole time, took batteries and cards out. Just kept them cold the whole time..nothing really stopped working ever.

Sort of...the conditions in the arctic will probably be nicer than what we had yesterday on the summit....

I don't know if anyone has a use for an ET-65B the hood for a 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 IS but I was sent one wrong a while ago. If anyone has a use for it you can have it.
