It's ok, Scott. We all do dumb things once in awhile.

you know , just leaving 15K or so of gear on a mountain...it's cool.

Ha he has those already too.

My cameras may or may not still be at the summit of mt. washington....and I may or may not be back in the city.

Any reward for these? Say, keep the 1dx? I'd run up washington in my underwear for it ;)

Haha. You'd have to kill my friend on the mountain who has them with him first :)

I'm sure you see your fair share of kooks @ downtown crossing. Used to work at TD Bank there.

Not sure what's with the clouds in between the Pru and the building to the right.

So that 5D2 didn't work out. The USB port on it was DOA. I'm sending it back today.

What do you guys know about Canon recycling program? I heard that if you send them an older dead camera you can get a percentage off of a refurb? The refurbs are on sale right now and I didn't know if I can combine the two to get a sweet deal.

its called the canon loyalty program.

1 (866) 443-8002. Select option "2".

thats the only way to go about dealing with it, as there's no website i know of.

you trade in your used/broken gear, and they give you a percentage off of a refurb body or kit. you also can get 20% off a refurb lens. so if you're looking for something expensive, it could definitely be worth it.
