How many people think they can outrun these trolleys. Idiots.

If the T drivers can't stop from hitting other trains in the tunnels, you are really taking a losing chance thinking they will stop for you on the street.

There was a period where I was checking craigslist religiously, very OCD like. At this point, I am mostly happy with my setup. I was mostly doing it because I wanted to try a bunch of things and could turn a profit if I didn't end up liking something.

I did the same thing a couple years ago. Only problem is that I ended up liking too much stuff and still have about $4k in stuff I had never planned on keeping....

Or just save up, buy new from B&H and know that it is (a) stress free and (b) they will take returns without "disappearing"!

I feel like I'm going to get blacklisted from B&H because of my return behavior

I bought the Sigma new from Adorama...mostly because after reading the thread in the lens section, I knew that I could have them test the lens for any AF issues before they shipped it to me. I don't think I'll fall back into the habit of obsessively checking CL any time soon.

I've always wanted to try my hand at brewing but it seems like quite an intimidating task.

On that phase as we speak, my bank account has not been pleased :)
