Recommendations on a travel tripod that won't break the bank? Going to Hawaii for my cousin's wedding in October.

This is the one I picked up awhile ago, folded it comes in at 15.6 inches.

I've read good things about the Benro MeFoto line also.

The Oben one i sold wasn't bad either. I think it's very similar to the Benro's.

i prefer to buy new where i can...given that its more money with the addition of shipping, i think i can get a manfrotto 293 carbon fiber tripod with a 496rc2 for 280 shipped. im gonna go with the 190xprob setup, but thanks for the suggestion.

That's not Scott. He doesn't seem stressed... ever.

Bach does... you haven't met him, but he was at our last outing. Not very talkative, actually. Living in a dorm, I don't think he does it himself at the moment... usually sends it out somewhere to do it for him.

I wouldn't mind giving it a go but I haven't the space at the moment(not like I'm pushing a ton of film through the camera anyhow).

Yeah. I bought a roll of Ilford Delta 400 Pro at Bromfield Camera and used it up in 3 hours walking around town. Brought it back and they wanted $24 for prints and I'd have to wait 2-3 days while they shipped it back from and to Kansas...

I was told to check Colortek - anyone deal with them?

Thanks Harm. Did you enjoy them?

Also, the camera works fine. Waiting to see who is the best option to get this roll developed.

Well we are in Haiti working on a documentary piece about Tent Cities and the crazy stuff going on with them in terms of evictions. I'm not going to go on about it now but wanted to post a few photos.

First, this family lives in one of the tents (the wife is not present)....

This is their house.

And the kids are awesome in these camps, love the camera

Is that a solar panel below the tent?

And a light (pic 1)
