Very little. Color correction, sharpening, etc. Very restricted on what I can do when I'm following our ethics.

Whats the story with the old cars there anyway? They don't build their own and nobody will export to them?

oh many would export to them, only the US has an embargo/sanctions on them - we get all their cigars and rum in the UK. But it prob boils down to who could afford a new car over there? As scott says, there are some new cars out there, but few and far between. You certainly wouldn't get any US manufacturers there, or anything built from the US going out there. Also, I am sure hidden in fine print with the mega tax breaks to those large manufacturers like toyota, honda etc., that if they sell in cuba, they lose their tax breaks.

Bit of blackmail, but it works. Hence you'll see some french, russian, indian and chinese vehicles there. But we know how ****e they are, so nothing like fixing up an old, solid cadillac out there with a modern engine...

It's a nasty political world out there!

There were a lot of new Ford and GMC pickup trucks being used by the Govt. there though which I thought was very strange.

That is corruption for you. US won't do anything, too small and trivial to get involved with :)

Probably for the pre-fab armor plating, i would assume. I've read some interesting books on the Bay of Pigs and such, pretty interesting story. Intelligence services trying to employ the American Italian Mafia to get Castro... very interesting. I'm still quite certain Kennedy died from that whole thing backfiring. That's just my opinion though.

Nope, they weren't armored, they were being used a construction sites, etc.

SUV? Why on earth would you get one of those? If you need space, get a turbo wagon of some sort...
