Hahaa, I loved doing that when I had my truck. I did it all the time driving down sidewalks half on half off, it's one way to get heaps of shocked faces while passing on the right.

How does your traffic violation history look? haha

I'd wanted to check out the GMC Terrain before I bought my Altima. I really liked the features it had to offer, but I'm kind of glad I went with the Altima, for the most part. Way better than the fricken Prius I'm driving while they fix my car (got rear-ended back on 3/13).

What happened, Bernie?

I slowed down to stop in traffic, the guy behind me didnt. He was nice enough about it - it really shook me up, and I didn't take a close look at my car before I left the scene, but my boss suggested I get checked out because I was shaken up pretty badly. I'm weird like that, I was okay with just letting things be, but I ended up on meds and apparently there was damage to my car that I didn't originally see. Don't really want to talk about the specifics there at this point, but when I took my car to the auto body the manager pointed out that my entire bumper was buckled and I had missed it when I was out on the road, so they're replacing that.

Glad you're okay, dude. My father-in-law was in the middle of a 4 car rear-ender... insurance company still trying to sort it out.

I was in one of these about 8 years ago. I was home on summer break from college and sitting on the shoulder in morning rush hour traffic waiting to exit. Some high school kid wasn't paying attention and barrels into the back of my car going 50 while I am stopped, throwing my car into the one in front of me, etc. chaining into a 6 car accdident. I was really shaken up by it. I was lucky that I was driving a jeep and the kid was driving an old honda. Surprisingly, insurance wasn't a huge hangup, at least for me.
