I am having fun right under the basket with my 17-55mm when the light is sufficient.
Anyone else agree? -- I know these shots are somewhat noisy --3200 ISO but hellfire -- I ain't shootin' for sports illustrated! I love the wider angle action shots.

If you are talking about the EFS 17-55f2.8 then yep it is a nice one. Sharper at times than my 70-200f2.8L!

I love shooting under the net with my 17-55 lens.Works great with Basketball or Volleybal and super sharp too.

Loved my 17-55 before I sold my 7D, sharpest lens I've ever shot with.

I've got the 17-55 on a 7D (and used it on a 30D). Either way, it has to be stopped down to be truly sharp. Better on the 7D (with micro adjust) than on the 30D, but still...
